Product Development Projects

Roto Bungee

Roles: Product Developer, Engineering Design

If you've used a standard mouse bungee before, you'll be all too familiar with that extra pulling sensation you feel when you're approaching the edges of your mousepad. That extra tension has caused you to whiff shots, misclick, or rip your bungee out of place. My frustration with existing bungees led me to design a solution to end all of the annoyances that come with using a wired mouse.

Piezoelectic Mechanical Keyboard

Roles: Product Developer, Engineering Design

The team developed a wireless mechanical keyboard that harnesses excess energy produced during a keystroke to augment the battery life. Our goal was to build a self-sufficient device capable of truly cutting the cord.

Digital Autobiography

Roles: Product Developer, User Researcher

The team designed a physical product that prompted seniors to reflect back on happy and memorable moments of their life. The device would record their voice and allow users to make a modern day scrapbook that they could pass onto loved ones.

Play at Safe Spaces

Roles: Product Developer, Engineering Design

The team designed an ecosysem of connected devices that would be used to increase security for public parks and playgrounds.

Philips Sleep Device

Roles: Product Developer, User Researcher

In collaboration with Philips Respironics, I worked on a team as a product developer for Smart Hammer Innovation. Over an 8 week accelerator program, the cross-functioning team explored innovative technologies that could be used for teen sleep applications. We conducted research, created personas, designed a co-create session, and created low-fidelity prototypes.
